For sale is this early 996 C4 Convertible, finished in special order Vesuvio Grey metallic with Grey leather interior, The car has covered a low mileage of 65000 miles which is documented with its mot history and full service history. When ordered new it had the options of soft grey leather seating, Hardtop in car body colour, climate controlled air conditioning, GT design 18 inch alloys and the vehicle also has a stainless Dansk sports exhaust. In addition to this the car was fitted with the GT3 kit which added the sport front bumper, side skirts and rear spoiler with rear spoilers for the rear bumper. The cars last owner bought the car eighteen years ago and used the car sparingly. In more recent years the car was not used at all.
The owner has now decided that it should go to someone who will love it and enjoy the Porsche. We have had the car and have re commissioned the car. Whilst with us the car has been given a full service including oil and air filter, brake fluid and coolant change. In addition to this the rear screen has been replaced, the wheels have been refurbished to the correct Porsche BBS silver, and the audio system replaced with a more modern Pioneer system that has the benefit of Bluetooth and Apple car play.
The car being a manual and being a early car has the manual throttle cable makes it more of a drivers car and more desirable than the later 996.2 3.6 model. With the low mileage these cars are tipped to be a great investment and being in a special order colour only adds to its rarity. The car drives particularly well with smooth power delivery from the flat six engine and a great exhaust note which is switchable if preferred. The gearbox changes smoothly without any fuss and there are no unwanted noises from the differential. The suspension is supple yet when cornering is very positive giving you great feedback to what the car is doing.
