2000 X Porsche Boxster S 3.2 Tiptronic
This Porsche Boxster S 986 Tiptronic can only be described as lovely! The car has inly covered 71000 miles and has low amount of owners. The previous two being husband and wife in their twelve year custody. The car has been pampered from new and having not only a full service history but also a huge folder of invoices for work over and above the standard servicing. Included in these invoices is the replacement IMS bearing which is essential on these early cars.
The car was in incredible condition when we collected it but has been improved with a full service, brake and coolant changes and a full refurbishment of the 18 inch Porsche Turbo Twist alloy wheels which were a factory option on this car. Unlike many this car still ha its amber indicators which were correct to it from the factory and a pleasure to see. The car has been given a machine polish and has been detailed bringing the very original paintwork back to a deep lustre that you only get with Porsche factory paintwork.
The 986 Boxster S are now becoming more collectable and are an affordable way into Porsche ownership and the classic car scene. These cars have been overlooked until recently but now values are rising for good original examples of which this is one. The car drives very well with smooth power delivery from the flat six engine and the gearbox changes smoothly through all the gears. The suspension is quite forgiving yet gives you a positive feedback of what the car is doing and gives you great confidence through the corners.
