Fore sale is this early Porsche 987.1 Boxster, having been re modelled in 2004 this is an early production car of the 987 and although similar in shape to the previous 986 model these were very much a different car to drive. The 987 model only shared about thirty percent of parts from the previous car giving a much more driver focused car in both its style and drive.
Since 2005 this car has covered a low mileage of 65400 miles which is verified by a fully stamped service history and is accompanied with invoices for additional work. The flat six engine has been checked last year for wear and given a clean bill of health, The car has just been through our workshop and been serviced inc all the filters and checked for auxiliary belt wear.
The engine gives a smooth delivery of power and the gear change is smooth, this we put down to the Tiptronic gearbox filters been recently changed and new transmission fluid replaced. The handling is crisp and gives you complete confidence when entering any corner. If you want to drive the car in manual mode it easy to flick the changer over and either use the gearstick or the buttons on the steering wheel.
When the car was originally ordered the car had many options ticked, these included 19″ inch “Lobster Claw” alloy wheels, Satellite navigation, 6 x CD changer, Leather seats and three spoke leather steering wheel, wind deflector and seat roll hoops in body colour, making the car stand out from most other 2.7 Boxster.
