What’s so great about the Lakes?
We are biased of course but the Lake district is one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. If not the world. Declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 2017, the Lakes has the highest mountain in England and the deepest lake. It also has some of the most stunning scenery in England. Market towns such as Kendal, Keswick and Ambleside. Plus some great country hotels, restaurants you won’t want to leave, and of course the roads which join it all together!
