The Porsche Boxster is one of the most accessible sports cars you can drive. That’s saying a lot coming from us! We have had the pleasure of driving a lot of special cars over the years but the Boxster is car we have had at Modern Classics twice now, and there is a reason for that. It’s FUN.
Originally launched way back in 1996 as the baby sister to the renowned Porsche 911 the Boxster was seen by many to be a far less capable car. How wrong they were. To us the Porsche Boxster represents everything that makes a sports car fun.

Add to this the fact that the Porsche Boxster is practical, comfortable and super docile when you want it to be and really, what’s not to like?
If it’s not raining the roof should be down so you can hear the great flat six engine. But also experience the great thing about open top driving. The elements. Sound is what makes driving even more enjoyable and so we like to take every opportunity to drive with the roof off.
